Privacy Policy

The Sharp Promo Video Relay (“the Service”) is an internal business application operated by Sharp Promo (sharppromo.com). It republishes product videos that our suppliers have authorized us to reuse onto Sharp Promo’s own YouTube channel, and maintains an index that connects those videos to products in our quoting system.
Who uses this Service
The Service is used only by Sharp Promo staff. It has no public sign-up, no consumer accounts, and it does not collect information from visitors. This page exists chiefly to describe how the Service handles data connected to our own Google account.
Google user data
The Service connects to one Google account — Sharp Promo’s own — through Google OAuth, with the YouTube scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube). Through that connection the Service:
- uploads videos to the Sharp Promo YouTube channel;
- reads back the status of videos it has uploaded;
- deletes videos from the Sharp Promo channel when an operator requests it.
To do this, the Service stores the OAuth refresh token in its private database. That token is the only Google user data the Service stores. It is never shared, sold, transferred, or used for any purpose other than the actions listed above, and it is never used for advertising. No data obtained through Google APIs is used to develop, improve, or train machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account’s third-party access settings, which immediately invalidates the stored token.
Supplier catalog data
The Service reads the public video listings of supplier YouTube channels that have given Sharp Promo written permission to republish their content. This uses the YouTube Data API with an API key and involves no personal data — only public video titles, identifiers, and publish dates.
YouTube API Services
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using it, users agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
What we do not collect
The Service sets no advertising or analytics cookies, does not track visitors, and stores no personal information about anyone other than the operational data described above.
Data retention and deletion
The stored OAuth token persists until it is revoked or replaced. Video records (titles, identifiers, part-number mappings) persist as long as the corresponding videos are in service. To request deletion of any stored data, contact us at the address below.
